Joël LESCA created his first collection in 1964 in a workshop. Over the years, a solid clientele of independent opticians and specialized outlets has been built around the world.
Since 1964, Lesca has employed craftsmen from several European countries, notably France and Germany. Inspired by the techniques of yesteryear by hand, LESCA glasses are riveted and shaped according to a strict specification.
Unwilling to use mass production techniques, Lesca has developed collections in limited series in workshops or factories on a human scale. Curious about new manufacturing techniques, Lesca has created a premium titanium range, renowned for its lightness and robustness, designed in Fokui, a region specializing in Japanese eyewear.
Today the second generation, Mathieu and Bertrand, strive to revive past collections by respecting the DNA of LESCA, by enhancing the history of the brand while remaining creative and modern.
